Who are we looking for?

Our new Digital and Customer Service team is expanding and we are on the lookout for an impact-driven, kind and curious person who has deep experience and knowledge of agile delivery practices and a desire to support and inspire others. You will be line managing up to 2 delivery managers, helping them to deliver excellent work and develop their careers.

It’s an exciting time to join our team, as we implement our first ever digital strategy. You will help us on our mission to make the Royal Borough of Greenwich a truly digital council and borough over the next four years and beyond.  Come and be a part of making our strategy a reality.

As a Senior Delivery Manager, you’ll be welcomed into a budding in-house delivery team, alongside other experts in user centred design, data analysts, project managers, policy and training practitioners and engineers. It’s essential you’re open-minded, flexible in your approach and great at working in a team. You will have experience in end-to-end delivery of new digital services, build thriving multi-disciplinary teams, be a champion of agile delivery across the Council, coach others and actively build a community of practice.

Most importantly, you are up for the challenge of making public service and government better. There’s plenty of scope for influencing how we deliver work, manage change and maximise impact.
