Senior Communications and Engagement Officer

As Senior Communications and Engagement Officer, you will work as part of the NHS England and NHS Improvement (London) communications team responsible for delivering a high-quality service to manage, protect and enhance the reputation of the organisation through clear and coherent messaging and impactful communications. You will be part of the campaigns and digital function in the NHS London communications team, developing inspiring and creative digital campaigns content and providing campaigns and communications advice across all communications channels to help meet national and regional priorities. You will work on campaigns which shine a spotlight on London’s healthcare, and support the work of the wider communications team in evaluating the impact of our work. This role requires an enthusiastic candidate with excellent communications skills, an understanding of audience targeting, both internal and public facing, and experience of stakeholder management. Experience of managing and growing corporate social media accounts in the workplace, with high impact, is essential. Demonstrable experience developing a range of creative and inspiring digital content across video, graphic design and copy for a range of channels and audiences is also essential. Experience managing CMS and developing websites is desirable.
