We are seeking an exceptional candidate to be Director of Group Infrastructure and Operations for Digital, Data and Technology Services at Defra. Our technology supports delivery of Defra Group’s policy and change agendas, from flood resilience and the environment to work on borders and trade post-EU Exit. As Director, you will drive the next phase of transformation in our infrastructure and operational technology estate, shaping strategy and modernising services.

This is a key leadership role, working across a group of circa 27,000 staff with a technology budget of more than £200m a year, plus significant investment funding over the next three years. The successful candidate will be a strategic and empowering leader, with a track record of building inclusive teams of technology specialists and of engaging partners and stakeholders.
